Nuance used artificial intelligence and machine learning to ensure that Hector responds appropriately by synchronising with the Indian accents. Activate Hector’s voice assistant by saying “Hello MG.” It is capable of more than 100 tasks, such as opening and closing the windows and sunroof, as well as controlling the navigation and climate control systems. According to MG, poor connectivity is not a problem for assistance.

Engine & Performance

The MG Hector, the company’s first compact SUV, marks an important step in MG’s effort to make a hybrid powertrain more widely available. The hybrid technology used by the model combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with a 48-volt system. With such a sizable battery-powered system, according to MG, fuel economy improves by 12% and CO2 emissions are cut by 11%.
